Ryder Finster, a 12-year-old boy, was the victim of an alleged hit and run that caused several injuries on November 13 in Hurricane. Friends of the family have created a GoFundMe me to cover Ryder’s medical expenses with a goal of $10,000. His mother said his fibula was broken along with his toes, and several wounds across his body. The family is left to pick up the pieces after this traumatic accident that happened right outside their home. Ryder’s mother, Erika Jefferson, said Ryder was on his way to his friend’s house, right down the street. She said the outpouring of support from those around them is what keeps them hopeful.
