City of Charleston offices will be closed December 24-25 for Christmas and December 31-January 1 for New Year’s. Police, fire, and trash collection workers will work usual schedules. Trash collection will be modified the weeks of December 23 through 27 and December 30 through January 3 with early week pickup moving up one day and no collection for the next two Wednesdays because of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
