The Manna Meal organization has been delivering meals to residents around Charleston for nearly 50 years, and they’ll be even more mobile beginning next week. Manna Meal acquired two new food trucks to deliver food to those who don’t have an easy time getting to the Garnet Center where they serve the majority of their daily meals. Manna Meal’s lease at St. John’s Episcopal Church expires December 31, and they’re been using that location to prep meals. The food trucks will serve as the group’s new kitchen and food pantry, and they hit the road next week.
