Investigations are ongoing into the deaths of Michael Scott, Jr., and Robert Hensley. The Dunbar Police Commission has been reviewing findings with the public. Officer Zachary Winters is named as a defendant in Scott, Jr.’s, death, and appealed the mayor’s decision to rescind his promotion from patrolman to corporal. The Dunbar Police Civil Service Commission is planning more public meetings in the future.
