West Virginia State Police are searching for a suspect connected to a shooting incident at a Lincoln County trailer park that hospitalized one victim. Troopers said warrants for 42-year-old Jackie Adkins, of Hamlin, are being processed on charges of malicious wounding, wanton endangerment and being a felon in possession of a firearm. State Police said the shooting was reported Sunday at Stones Trailer Court in Hamlin where investigators found a victim with a single gunshot wound to the leg. Investigators said Adkins fled the scene before law enforcement arrived on scene. Troopers said the victim was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital and the shooting remains under investigation.
