The first day of class at the new Milton Elementary School finally came on Monday. Students were off for the winter break and then out of school last week because of weather, so the brand new building had to wait until this week to make its debut. Construction on the new school began in May of 2023, not far from the old building. The new school rests on 100 acres and holds Pre-K through 5th grade students.
