A garage caught fire in Kanawha County killed two dogs Monday evening. Eyewitness News reported that a two-car garage caught fire in the 400 block of Center Street in Pratt about 4:45 p.m. Firefighters said a woman in the garage was able to escape the flames, but the dogs were killed. Emergency crews were able to contain the fire to a single structure. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
