Mingo County is plagued by ongoing water issues

The Public Service Commission of West Virginia is investigating the Mingo County Public Service District to find out why water problems have been an ongoing issue. Eyewitness News reported some businesses are altering the way they do things, including keeping restrooms closed off to the public. A spokesperson from the PSC said they have no update into the investigation into the water issues. Some businesses have started using well water, but many got rid of their well access, leaving them no choice but to use bottled or gallon jugs of water.
