The Public Service Commission of West Virginia has moved up the due date for a report ordered on the Mingo County Public Service District to April 14. Eyewitness News said residents of Mingo County have had continuous problems involving their water. An investigation was ordered into the system on Jan. 23 with an original due date of July 14, however, the date was moved up after the commission learned that many customers have been without water for extended periods, according to a news release from the Public Service Commission. The commission will also make recommendations on whether the commission could order an acquisition of the system under state code.
