A new school opened up this week. The new Milton Elementary opened to students after 17 months of construction at a cost of almost 24 million dollars.
The two-story school on Newmans Branch Road is more than 54,000 square feet.
Eyewitness News said some of the new things include a man trap safety feature, new furniture, and Apple TV connections for monitors. Staff spent some of the first day Monday working with students on procedures at the new school.
