A pharmacy in downtown Charleston will be closing and customers will have prescriptions transferred. Eyewitness News reported that Fruth Express on Lee Street will be permanently closing on Wednesday, Feb. 12. A flyer at the business said all prescriptions will be transferred to Fruth’s Oakwood Road location. Company management said consolidation efforts are underway in Cabell and Putnam County as a lease has expired at Fruth’s Perry Morris Square location in Milton. That Cabell County location will consolidate with a Teays Valley Road location in Hurricane.
