Governor Morrisey gives an update on flood response

Gov. Patrick Morrisey addressed flooding and response efforts on Monday and confirmed one weather-related death. Heavy rainfall closed roadways, property damage and a state of emergency in 13 counties. Morrisey said more than 50,000 water bottles have been delivered to affected residents. Thirty thousand were without power at one point. To submit a damage assessment go to the West Virginia Emergency Management website or call 211 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
