Huntington’s Enslow Park continues to struggle with flooding problems

People who live in Enslow Park in Huntington have been dealing with flooding for years now. On Tuesday night, mayor Patrick Farrell held a public meeting for neighbors to discuss their ongoing issues surrounded by the overflow of Four Pole Creek. Eyewitness News said there is no easy fix, and a solution could take more than ten years and cost millions of dollars. There is money set aside in the new budget for flooding mitigation in Huntington, but that will be spread out city wide. There is no clear solution right now to fix the problems in Four Pole Creek, but residents are hopeful something can be worked out.
