West VA Health Right

Organizations in Charleston are stepping up, gathering healthcare supplies for those who are victims of the flood. One of the organizations making a difference is West Virginia Health Right. They are offering flood victims a 30-day supply of prescription medication and diabetic supplies that they may lost during the recent flooding.. We are mailing their medications to them and we are also doing diabetic supplies as well,” Rhonda Francis, clinical manager at West Virginia Health Right, said. West Virginia Health Right along with West Virginia Emergency Management are helping disperse hygiene bags, sleeping bags and handwarmers to those in the affected areas. In the days following the flooding, much of the state is rallying together to support their fellow West Virginians. “When there’s a situation like this, the community rallies together,” Francis said. “I’ve seen a lot of good that’s being done right now. Which warms my heart because people are actually working together and working for mankind.”
