A crash along Interstate 64 East killed one and injured two others Sunday morning, according to deputies. Stephen Green, 20, of Ashland, Kentucky, was killed after his vehicle was rear-ended by a pickup truck, according to Cabell County Sheriff Doug Adams. Shorty before 6 a.m., Green had a flat tire and pulled over to the side of the road where a nearby construction worker went to help, Adams said. The construction worker entered the passenger seat of Green’s vehicle just before it was hit by the pickup, according to the sheriff’s office. The construction worker and truck driver were taken to an area hospital, but at this time there is no word on their condition.
