New autism clinic opens in St. Albans

Autism Services Center held the grand opening of a new Applied Behavior Analysis clinic in St. Albans this week. Autism Services CEO Jimmie Beirne told Eyewitness News there was a great need for this facility in the area, and they are already providing services to almost a dozen children, with 90 on the waiting list. This will save patients from traveling to Huntington. The new facility has 24 dedicated therapy rooms and many more areas that are equipped to provide high quality care and provides two playrooms for children at the clinic that Beirne said is an important part of skill development. Autism Services Therapies in St. Albans will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and offers full day and part day therapy schedules.
