A new private outdoor designated area, more commonly known as a PODA opened in Elk City last weekend. Owners of The Wine Down told Eyewitness News that the Nano Brewery was very busy and the weekend drew a good amount of foot traffic. While PODA mostly refers to restaurants, bars and breweries, other shops in the area are joining in, this allows people to bring drinks into their shops. The new PODA in Elk City is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
