The Cabell County School Board is looking into possibly later school start times for middle and high school students. A later start gives students more sleep, and that leads to better concentration in the classroom, according to research. The board is in the beginning discussion stages and they held a public information session yesterday afternoon. It’s not likely that there would be any start time changes for the upcoming school year, but it’s something they’re considering for the future.
