Ravenswood City Clerk Kim Benson has been placed on administrative leave. Ravenswood council members decided to place Benson on leave during a meeting on Tuesday so they could conduct a Public Employees Insurance Agency-related investigation. Sources told Eyewitness News that there were concerns over whether or not a person was entitled to be covered by the city’s health insurance plan. Mayor Josh Miller declined to comment on the investigation.
