This year West Virginia health care providers are celebrating a major milestone in Lincoln County. The Southern West Virginia Health System is marking 50 years of operation after establishing a primary care center in Hamlin back in 1975. The system now includes more than two dozen locations across seven counties. Health care officials said new technologies will be focal point of improving service to the region in the coming years.
