ATVs are an up-and-coming industry in Eastern Kentucky, and Floyd County leaders are taking steps to capitalize on it. Eyewitness News reported the county now has an ATV ordinance in hopes of attracting more ATV enthusiasts. ATV’s can only operate on roads if they have a center yellow line and they can only travel on those roads for 20 miles and no further. The new ATV ordinance coincides with the groundbreaking of a new ATV trail in Floyd County. It’s located at the German Bridge Campground. That groundbreaking event is a week from this coming Friday, July 25th.
