Students at Kanawha County schools will head back to class in mid-August and they’ll have new technolgy in the hallways whether they realize it or not. New security cameras were approved by the Kanawha County School Board back in May, and they’ve been installed this month in high schools and middle schools. Video is uploaded to a cloud service and will be instantly available to school officials and first responders. The new cameras will be in outdoor spaces, common areas, exits, entry and stairwells.
