Marshall University finds itself in a housing crunch

Increased enrollment at Marshall University is presenting a housing issue that has leaders looking for long and short-term solutions. Enrollment and growth are causing the crunch, and the university is also seeing an increased interest from upper class students to continue living on campus in the residence halls. WCHS TV said the university has plans in place to find housing for students, which includes 30 bed spaces at a local hotel, but with the start of classes in about a month. Long-term solutions are being explored as well.
