Water problems at Fayette County lockup

West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials said a water shortage is affecting a Fayette County lockup facility.Operational issues were reported Thursday at Mount Olive Correctional Complex, impacting the water supply from local public service districts.WVDCR said that portable potable water tanks will use for cooking while water bottles and portable stations will be implemented for handwashing and showering to insure health and safety protocols are being met for staff and inmates. A spokesperson for West Virginia American Water told Eyewitness News the company is working with Kanawha Falls Public Service District and Gauley River Public Service District to address the shortage
