Robert Samuel “Bob” Camp, a former West Virginia University basketball player and Charleston native, died at his home in West Palm Beach, Florida recently. Camp grew up in Charleston and graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in 1960 before attending WVU. He was 82 years old. A virtual Celebration of Life will take place on Aug. 29 (Camp’s 83rd birthday) at 12:30 p.m., which will be livestreamed on YouTube. An in-person Celebration of Life will take place on the final weekend of September, with details forthcoming.
