Capitol Market has teamed up with Patriot Guardens to introduce a new mini-market featuring a rotation of products from veteran-owned businesses and veteran-grown farms. The Patriot Pop-Up will have its grand opening on Aug. 6 at 1 p.m. to kick off National Farmers Market Week. It will be located across from the Capitol Market kitchen in the outdoor market. WCHS TV said the grand opening will honor both National Farmers Market Week and the veterans involved in small business and agriculture. The opening of the Patriot Pop-Up was made possible via grant funding from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
