Ruth “Jean” Cunningham has been found dead, according to deputies.Deputies said it appears something in the home fell on Cunningham and killed her. Cunningham, 88, was reported missing after she was last seen in Cross Lanes on Thursday.Deputies said they responded to Cunningham’s home after family said they hadn’t heard from either family member who lived in the home. Upon entering the home, deputies found an elderly man passed out on the floor. Deputies said he was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay. Deputies then brought K-9 officers into the home to search for Cunningham, where she was later found. Deputies said both of them suffer from dementia.
