The discovery of mold delays the start of classes at a Cabell County school

A Cabell County school postponed its first day of classes Wednesday due to the presence of mold. Explorer Academy delayed school activities after a mold remediation team confirmed lab samples of two types of common outdoor mold spores. The company that completed the mold remediation did not recommend closing the school, as it said the issue could be corrected by running foggers every night. WCHS TV said the school elected to postpone the first day of school until all mold has been removed. A new date for the first day of school has not been determined.
