An arrest has been made in a Scioto County homicide investigation. 33-year old James Ruggles has been charged with murder, arson, assault, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and obstruction, according to a news release from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office. A homicide investigation was launched Monday after the body of 59-year-old Rocky Jordan was found at a Millers Run Fallen Timber Road home in Lucasville. Ruggles was identified as a person of interest the next day, and arrested at a business in Portsmouth Wednesday afternoon. The homicide remains under investigation and additional charges may be filed.
