Charleston’s own Will Michael is behind a new psychological thriller called The Static Room. He said the film has been years in the making, and it draws from his own experience with grief.
The story follows a young man grappling with emotional fallout after a personal loss, and Michael is dedicating the film to his late sister, Maggie Rose Michael, who passed away in 2022.
The Static Room is set to premiere Thursday, September 19th at 8 p.m. at the La Belle Theater in South Charleston.
