A teenager died after suffering a gunshot wound in Greenbrier County. It happened just after 4 p.m. Saturday in the Shoestring Trail area of Clintonville, according to a press release from the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said the teen was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services made several attempts to save their life. There were four other teenagers at the home at the time, and all of them and their parents were taken to the Lewisburg Detachment of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office for questioning. Deputies said all four were eventually released following questioning and collection of evidence. The incident remains under active investigation.
