The state’s Paranormal Trail now has 21 stops where visitors can hunt for the haunted this fall, including four new points of interest. The Apollo Civic Theater in Martinsburg serves as a time machine to the vaudeville era. Lewisburg’s Carnegie Hall was constructed in the early 1900s following a devastating fire. Also in Lewisburg, the Greenbrier Valley Theatre is the place where a 1897 murder trial saw testimony from a ghost. Seneca Caverns, located in Riverton, are a series of caves steeped in history and local legends.
