A coordinated effort between local, state and federal law enforcement officers located a girl in West Virginia who claimed she had been abducted from her home in another state. Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Moundsville Walmart location about the abduction of an 11-year-old girl. The child had messaged relatives saying a man had taken her from her home. The girl was found with a woman, who was detained and questioned, and that led officers to a home where a man was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
