A home was destroyed in a fire Friday morning in Sissonville. The blaze was reported about 9 a.m. in the 7000 block of Sissonville Drive, according to a Metro 911 alert. Firefighters said two people were inside the home at the time of the fire, but were able to get out safely. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
