Road work continues on the Fort Hill Bridge in Charleston with a few changes this week. Both right lanes will be closed eastbound and westbound on the bridge from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly during the work week as concrete patching work continues, according to a news release from the West Virginia Division of Highways. Ramps to and from Virginia Street and ramps to and from Oakwood Road will be closed and detours put in place. Eastbound and westbound fast lanes will remain open to traffic. From 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct.26, the right-hand eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed across the bridge.
