A woman was killed in a Boone County crash Tuesday afternoon. WCHS TV said the crash was reported along Route 3 in the Rock Creek area where troopers found a vehicle on its side in a creek. A news release from West Virginia State Police noted that the driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Charity Holstein, was pronounced dead at the scene. A male passenger was extricated and taken to a Charleston hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It’s not clear what caused the crash.
