Search efforts continue along the Big Sandy River after a man reportedly jumped from the I-64 bridge in Wayne County Monday night.
Kenova Police received the call around 7:40 p.m. after the man’s vehicle, cell phone, and other personal items were found abandoned on the bridge.
The search was suspended initially because of poor visibility but resumed Tuesday morning. Investigators send the reminder that iIf you or someone you know is struggling, help is available by calling or texting 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
