Six sites added to National Registry of Historic places

Six sites in West Virginia have been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Spread across multiple counties, these new designations highlight the Mountain State’s rich history and unique heritage, according to a news release from the West Virginia Department of Tourism. West Virginia Department of Tourism Deputy Secretary Ennis Smith said “What a great opportunity for our state to have these six unique sites added as new points of interest on the National Register of Historic Places.
