St. Albans teen faces indictments in two separate shootings

An 18-year-old St. Albans man has been indicted on 22 charges tied to two separate incidents in Kanawha County.

Joel McGee is facing charges including attempted first-degree murder, malicious assault, and wanton endangerment.

The charges stem from a July 1st shooting on Charleston’s East End, even though it’s not linked to the victim’s death. There was a second shooting incident on July 16th, when shots were fired at officers trying to serve an arrest warrant.

McGee is scheduled for arraignment on October 14th before Judge Kenneth Ballard.
