A man faces charges for shooting and killing his brother

In southern West Virginia, a man accused of shooting his brother was killed in a shootout with state troopers. Authorities say 72-year-old Frederick Mabe of Rock barricaded himself inside his home after allegedly shooting his twin brother, Randall Mabe, Thursday morning. When police and crisis negotiators arrived, Frederick opened fire, prompting officers to return shots. He was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene. Randall was found lying in the roadway and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The incident brought in multiple law enforcement units, including K-9 officers, bomb technicians, and the State Police SRT Delta Team.
