The City of Charleston is adjusting trash and recycling pickup schedules for the holidays.
During Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s weeks, trash collection will run one day early for most routes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with no pickup on the holidays themselves. Friday routes will remain unchanged.
The city encourages residents to plan ahead and watch for reminders through calls, ads, and social media.
