A repeat sex offender with convictions dating back to 2000 received a statutory maximum sentence Tuesday, federal prosecutors said.Robert Harvey, 49, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for possession of child pornography, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia. The news release said residential reentry staff in St. Albans found Harvey to be in possession of a cell phone, which was not permitted without approval from a probation officer .Prosecutors said images and videos depicting child pornography were found on the device by law enforcement officers.
