Police are investigating after a vehicle left the scene of a crash that hospitalized a pedestrian in Charleston Thursday afternoon. Emergency dispatchers told Eyewitness News a man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in the 1300 block of Crescent Road about 3:45 p.m. Police said the man’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Investigators are working to attain a description of the vehicle.
