West Virginia University’s Board of Governors has approved initial plans for a new press box at Milan Puskar Stadium. The $150 million West Tower Project will demolish the current structure and build an all-new press box with expanded premium seating.
Athletic Director Wren Baker says the upgrades will not only improve the fan experience but also make the stadium more suitable for concerts and other events. The existing press box hasn’t seen major renovations since 1980.
Funding will come from fundraising, sponsorships, and naming rights. The board also approved a $1.5 million Hope Coliseum project adding new premium seating areas.
