The University of Charleston named Jamie Cope as its new Executive Director of Innovation.
Cope joins UC from West Virginia University Industrial Extension, where he served as Business Development Manager, and previously was Deputy Director at the Robert C. Byrd Institute.
In his new role, Cope will oversee UC’s innovation ecosystem, including the Russell and Martha Wehrle Innovation Center and the Downtown Innovation Hub. He’ll lead program development, workshops, and manage innovation-related grants.
