A Charleston man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a pedestrian while driving drunk.
Police say 70-year-old Roy Eagle was arrested and charged with DUI causing serious bodily injury.
Officers were called to Spring Street near the Piggly Wiggly, where the Charleston Fire Department reported the victim may have suffered a broken femur. Witnesses told police the driver smelled of alcohol, and officers identified him as Eagle.
