Woody Williams Center is denied funding request for a new roof

More than $43 million is heading to school construction projects across West Virginia, but not every district received funding from the School Building Authority. Eyewitness News said the Woody Williams Center for Advanced Learning and Careers, which is under construction inside the former Sear’s building, was denied a $6 million request for a roof replacement. They’re looking at different ways to fund it. The school system may apply for SBA funding again later.
