A second person faces charges for stealing heavy equipment from United Rentals

A second arrest has been made in connection with a theft investigation at United Rentals in Cross Lanes. Kanawha County deputies say 41-year-old Elizabeth Nicole Clay of Charleston is charged with entry of a building other than a dwelling and grand larceny. Investigators say multiple vehicles and equipment were stolen in December, including a truck, trailer, and two side-by-side utility vehicles, with an estimated value of 85-thousand dollars. Deputies say an excavator was used to breach a fence during the theft. Another suspect, James Keith Quesenberry of Poca, was arrested earlier while driving a stolen U-Haul. Clay is currently being held on a 25-hundred-dollar cash-only bond.
