County commissioners from across West Virginia gathered in Charleston Monday to meet with state lawmakers during a legislative conference. The County Commissioners’ Association of West Virginia’s 2026 Legislative Conference gave local leaders a chance to share ideas, discuss county-level needs, and advocate directly with legislators. Organizers say the event helps ensure counties from every part of the state have a voice during the legislative session.
