High-speed chase leads to charges

A Colorado man is facing charges after West Virginia State Police say he stole a car and led troopers on a high-speed chase through multiple counties.

Troopers say the chase began late January 11th in Weston, where a stolen sedan sped away during a traffic stop, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour on U.S. 19 and Interstate 79.

The vehicle struck a median, ran over spike strips in Braxton County, and continued driving before crashing again and coming to a stop.

Troopers arrested 27-year-old Kyle Termin of Denver after a brief struggle.

He’s charged with fleeing with reckless indifference and grand larceny and is being held in the Central Regional Jail.
